Pleasure, Passion, and the Path of the Sacred
I believe I have a spiritual duty to live my life in the most sacred way possible. Many people would agree with that statement, however what it means is as individual as the people who take on that sacred mission. To me it means two things primarily. First, I believe in a life of service. I see myself as an extension of my creator, and as that extension, I try to be an instrument of service on behalf of the divine as often and as well as I am possibly able. I would suppose many people also agree with that. However, that may be where I part ways with the main stream regarding a sacred life. The Great I AM

Honestly, I think they work if you think they will. However a lot of people don’t. That said, I am a big fan of “I am” affirmations. An “I am” statement used as an affirmation is very simple. The subconscious is trained to respond to the words I am. We think them all the time. Those words form the very construct of our self identity. I am fat. I am lovable. I am successful. I am lonely.
